As an experienced public sector leader, Cal Hawley has a keen understanding of the pressures, challenges and opportunities facing the broader public sector.  He has a passion for driving meaningful change and fostering innovation through the effective and intelligent use of technology.  

Building on 33 years in the Manitoba Civil Service in both education and health, Cal provides tailored consulting, coaching and advisory services - helping clients develop their internal capacity and expertise in the following areas:

• Technology planning – investment and roadmap;
• Procurement and contract management;
• Business transformation; and  
• Business continuity planning.  

Cal has a unique skill set that marries technology and business management – the result of broad project experience combined with extensive program and service delivery management.  Guidance and coaching to senior leadership, development and stewardship of strategy, and fostering innovation in the use and adoption of technology are key strengths that Cal brings to his work with clients.

Cal is also an active volunteer and advocate for volunteerism in our community.  Over the years, he has been a coach, administrator and provincial board member within the amateur sport community in Manitoba.  Cal has also held leadership roles in various national, regional and provincial sport championships and industry conferences.
