Brent’s 33 year career in technology spans across both the private and public sector having worked in Broadcast Media, Accounting/Finance, Municipal Government and Public Education. The positions held included Technical Support Specialist, Application Programmer and culminate in The Director of Information Technology. Brent’s experience has created a unique individual with an understanding of how, with confidence in the supporting infrastructure, effective use of technology can positively impact an organization. Brent’s leadership style is approachable and collaborative, recognizing that effective project implementation requires solid planning and great communication with stakeholders. Progress is attained when a problem is identified, a solution is determined and communicated; and necessary training is provided. The final step of continuous monitoring is required to confirm the original problem has been resolved. Brent is well versed in Business and Technology and believes in building strong relationships with all stakeholders through inclusion and communication.
